HISTORY AND AWARDS
2005 MISSION TO HUBBLE
In September 2005, students from Eastwood Christian School made a commitment to participate in the BEST Competition. BethelBots, Inc. (as the team was then called) made their robot, presentation, display, and paper and competed after a grueling six weeks. Finishing sixth in the robotics competition, they barely missed going to the regional competition
2006 LAUNDRY QUAUNDRY
In September 2006, the newly named PatriotBots placed second in robotics and the BEST Award at Alabama’s BEST, advancing to the regional competition (the top teams east of the Mississippi), where they placed 3rd in the BEST Award.

After taking a year off, Patriotbots returned to the War Eagle BEST Competition winning multiple awards.

In 2014, after taking five years off the team returned and renamed themselves GEARS, Inc. After winning nine different awards at the local competition the team advanced to regionals where they won two awards
